Job summary

Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) is seeking a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist to join our pediatric respiratory team in Voorhees, NJ. Monday–Friday shifts provide a 36-hour work week with no weekends, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus distributed after 90 days with further installments up to 30 months.

The role involves operating respiratory care equipment, evaluating patients, and collaborating with families and the interdisciplinary team to deliver developmentally appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Current NJ licensure in Respiratory Care.
• CRT or RRT credential.
• Current/Active CPR Certification (AHA or ARC only).
• Pediatric healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment to support safe and appropriate patient care.
• Evaluate patients to identify functional needs and develop treatment recommendations.
• Provide individualized care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment and interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and outside professionals while promoting safety and teamwork.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Occasional relocation to Weisman Children's Hospital to provide Respiratory Therapist services.
