Qualifikationen

• Florida State License required.
• NBRC – RRT credential required.
• American Heart Association BLS required; PALS within 30 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Verify all physician orders and provide age-appropriate respiratory care to patients.
• Assess patients and evaluate for therapy appropriateness.
• Provide aerosolized medication therapy and airway clearance therapies.
• Ventilator setup and management; non-invasive monitoring (pulse oximetry, O2/CO2, end-tidal).
• Provide emergency respiratory care including CPR, ABG sampling, point-of-care testing, and ECGs.
• Document care in EMR and enter charges.
• Participate in discharge planning and home-care education.
• Provide recommendations to physicians and nurses regarding respiratory care.
• Evaluate equipment and stay updated on departmental policies and procedures.
