Job summary

Pediatric Home Service, a pediatric home health agency, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care at home across Kansas. You will assess needs, educate families, and develop care plans for medically fragile children.

Expect CRT, BLS, and 1–2 years pediatric RT experience; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with on-call weekends as determined by leadership. Join a team focused on improving children’s lives in their homes and communities.

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by NBRC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One to two years of pediatric experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Uses analytical ability to perform initial patient assessments and coordinate care.
• Performs initial equipment setup and patient/family education.
• Develops patient-specific plans of care and revises them as needed.
• Ensures documentation is accurate and timely.
• Participates in care conferences and collaborates with the care team.
• Handles on-call troubleshooting and reports to on-call manager.
• Schedules patient visits per policy.
