Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC in Tampa Bay's premier pediatric skilled nursing facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join a dedicated pediatric care team. The RT will assess, treat, and manage children with cardiopulmonary conditions, administer therapies, monitor progress, and educate families while collaborating with physicians to tailor care plans.

This full-time role offers day and overnight shifts (days 7A-7P; overnights 7P-7A) with competitive $36-$40/hr pay plus shift

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy is required; CRT or RRT credential for advanced practice preferred.
• One year of experience in nursing in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing difficulties or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests and administer therapies such as oxygen and aerosols.
• Monitor patient progress and educate patients and families on lung health and self-care.
