Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative, patient-centered pediatric healthcare team. You will provide direct respiratory care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following hospital and departmental guidelines.

This entry-level role supports ECMO, mechanical ventilation, sleep studies, and related critical care services; certification as an RRT and BLS are required or imminent for new grads.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Certification as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS).
• No prior experience required; student applicants within six months of graduation are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively within the healthcare team, documenting accurately and participating in handoffs.
• Educate patients, families, students, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse learning styles.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures following established standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Demonstrate advanced skills supporting ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep labs, and other critical care services.
