Job summary

Home of the Innocents in Louisville, KY seeks a Respiratory Therapist to care for medically complex pediatric residents at the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center. You’ll manage ventilators, deliver treatments, and perform pulmonary procedures, while helping families and building lasting relationships.

This role blends clinical excellence with teaching and community engagement; self-scheduling supports a 36-hour week on day shifts, and you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve

Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky.
• NBRC certification.
• Active BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments, manage ventilators, and perform pulmonary procedures to improve resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in Pulmonary Rounds.
• Educate and support residents and medical trainees to grow clinical skills in respiratory care.
• Engage residents in recreational activities and build meaningful relationships.
