Pediatric Home Service is a friendly and professional leader in home health care with a singular passion for and commitment to taking care of the child. • Position: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Weekends/On-call: as determined by leadership
• Requirements: holds the following license; LRT, BLS

SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000

THE POSITION:

• Uses analytical ability to perform initial patient assessments including physical, functional, social and environmental resource requirements and needs. Ensures communication and coordination of services/care among all clinical services.
• Performs initial equipment set-up and patient/family/caregiver education.
• Develops patient-specific plans of care based on initial assessments to include problems, goals, and interventions.
• Reviews and revises care plans on an ongoing basis and ensures that all patients are followed according to that plan per PHS policy.
• Ensures that all required documentation is completed accurately and within the time frames set forth in PHS policy.
• Participates in care conferences and collaborates with all care team members internally and externally.
• Participates in day-to-day troubleshooting. Performs all on-call activities, analyzes problems, formulates solutions, and notifies the manager on-call as needed.
• Attends department and staff meetings as necessary.
• Schedules all patient visits per PHS follow-up policy.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One to two years of pediatric experience as a Respiratory Therapist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Neonatal & Pediatric Specialist (NPS)

SALARY RANGE:

At PHS, we are committed to providing specialized care for medically complex children. Every role, from direct patient care to customer support, plays a vital part in improving the lives of kids and families. The impact you make is invaluable. We are dedicated to offering fair and transparent compensation to our team members. The range for this role is $65,170 to $71,690 salary, based on experience and qualifications.
