Job summary

Search Station is recruiting on behalf of a large hospital in Spokane, Washington, seeking multiple Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) or Respiratory Therapists (RT) to join its Respiratory Care department. These full-time, variable-shift positions collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan and deliver respiratory care in a patient-focused, whole-person care culture.

The roles require Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license, BLS, and a solid knowledge of contemporary Respiratory

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS provider certification upon hire.
• Comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles.
• Completion of department and unit-specific orientation programs, as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care.
• Assist physicians with the delivery and direction of respiratory therapy.
• Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices.
• Perform respiratory care procedures, patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and oxygen therapy.
• Perform other patient care functions for which qualified by training and experience.

Education

Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license

American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
