Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our pediatric-focused team. This full-time night shift role provides 36 hours per week with weekend premium options. A sign-on bonus may be available with a two-year service commitment.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, administering prescribed respiratory therapies, and responding to emergencies. Education requires an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy and licensure with NBRC, AHA BLS HCP, and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• State licenses/certifications across required locations (BLS HCP, NBRC NBRC RRT, Respiratory Care Practitioner).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care.
• Provide respiratory care services per physician orders and department policies.
• Monitor and adjust patient care plans and equipment as needed.
• Record and communicate patient condition.
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and manage inventory.
