You should hold a Master’s or DPT and Illinois licensure, with CPR/BLS certification and strong collaboration skills for a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and physical therapy treatments and modalities typically gained with Master’s or DPT.
• Current Illinois license as Physical Therapist.
• On-the-job experience of roughly three to six months to gain full pediatric therapy techniques.
• Current CPR or BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and help manage a research study focused on a pediatric population.
• Obtain informed consent.
• Administer a battery of assessment instruments per protocol.
• Score, transcribe, code, and interpret test data.
• Administer treatment procedures per protocol.
• Track subject performance during treatment.
• Enter data and assist with record-keeping and data management.
• Initiate clinical research questions and analyze data to answer them.
• Assist in developing and maintaining grant applications and IRB submissions.
