Job summary

Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Research Nurse who works independently under GCP guidelines. The Research Nurse coordinates research projects, documents procedures and outcomes, and supports the principal investigator and study team in a fast-paced clinical research environment.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) with nursing licensure in DC and 2 years of related nursing experience; pediatrics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• MSN is preferred.
• 2 years related nursing experience in a comparable setting is required; pediatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research projects following GCP and regulations.
• Document research procedures and outcomes meticulously.
• Collaborate with PI, coordinators, and other staff throughout the research process.
• Ensure informed consents are obtained from subjects before initiation of any aspect of research projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance training for the team.
