Job summary

El Paso Childrens Hospital Corporation is seeking a Pediatric Rehabilitation Technician to support therapists in a supervised setting. You will assist with department operations, supplies and equipment, and provide non-skilled patient care as directed by a therapist.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish preferred, basic reading/writing in English, and the ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment. This is a day shift, full-time position based in El Paso, TX.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in a health-related field; equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Able to read, write and understand English; basic math.
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, visitors and staff.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of therapists in Pediatric Rehabilitation.
• Assist with department operations, supplies and equipment.
• Perform non-skilled patient care activities as assigned by a therapist.
