Location: Dell Children's Medical Center, Austin, Texas

Schedule: Full-time, 7pm - 7am

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and care for patients with respiratory issues.
• Assess treatment plans, monitor patient condition, and perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
• Evaluate respiratory practices and medication administration based on outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources.
• Respond to emergency codes as part of the resuscitation team.

Minimum Requirements

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from Texas.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC.
• Preferred: Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Education

• High school diploma with 2 years of experience or an associate's/technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
