Job summary

Blythedale Children's Hospital in Westchester County, NY, seeks a per diem Registered Nurse to join our pediatric care team. The RN will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and participate in care planning and family education.

Under the nursing leadership, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Weekend and holiday commitments are required; BLS is required and PALS encouraged. Night differential of $4/hour applies to eligible shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed or eligible for NYS RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health conditions.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Drive professional growth by actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.
