Job summary

The pediatric registered nurse at CoxHealth provides care to infants, children, and adolescents, including assessment, planning, and delivery of nursing care for illnesses and post-procedure recovery.

Job Description

The pediatric registered nurse provides care to infants, children, and adolescents. The pediatric nurse is responsible to assess, plan and provide nursing care for children who are suffering from a wide variety of conditions including diseases, illnesses, and recovery from procedures.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Required: 1 year pediatric or PICU experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
• Exhibits valuable time management skills
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Licensure/Certification/Registration
