Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (PRN) to join our pediatric ASC team. You will assist dentists and anesthesia providers, prepare supplies, and support patient care from pre-op through post-op in a fast-paced surgical setting.

The role requires an accredited dental assisting program, an active RDA license, and BLS certification, with pediatric and general anesthesia experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant.
• One year of RDA experience (pediatrics and general anesthesia preferred).
• Current BLS Certificate.
• Background and Drug Screening Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist and anesthesia provider with instruments, sutures, sponges and supplies.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by gathering supplies and equipment and maintaining inventory.
• Familiar with procedures performed and dentist preferences.
• Provide care tailored to pediatric and adolescent patients, considering developmental needs and safety.
• Assist with patient transfer from bed to gurney and turnover of the OR.
• Decontaminate and maintain equipment and sterilize rooms as directed.
