Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking an entry-level team member to collaborate with therapists and educators to support individualized child programs. You will help organize daily activities, train students and volunteers, and assist families by connecting them with resources while maintaining a clean, safe learning environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, basic computer skills, and the ability to read, write, and speak conversational English.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English [Required]
• Entry level competency of behavior analytic practice with young children [Preferred]

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physical, occupational, speech-language, and music therapists, as well as early childhood special educators and BCBA.
• Works with leadership team and social worker on individual child and family needs and accessing community resources.
• Trains and educates students, interns, volunteers, and patient’s family members. Supports staff by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
• Organizes data and individual children’s programs daily.
• Maintains organization in the classroom and other areas. Builds professional relationships with co-workers by being considerate of workloads and assisting with duties.
