Zusammenfassung

Fulgent Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Pediatric Rare Diseases. The role focuses on supporting clinical education and scientific communication for pediatric rare disease genetic testing, including FulGenome whole genome sequencing and TruPath Genome insights.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Genetic Counseling, ABGC certification, and 3+ years of clinical or MSL experience, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program.
• Board certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical genetic counseling and/or MSL experience.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and clearly communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in the assigned territory.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a subject matter expert on pediatric rare disease genetic testing, including whole exome sequencing, whole genome sequencing (FulGenome), TruPath Genome long-read analysis, NGS panels, and exome-based rare disease testing.
• Educate genetic counselors, medical geneticists, pediatric neurologists, developmental pediatricians, NICU decision makers, and related providers at Children’s Hospitals and academic medical centers on clinical utility of Fulgent products.
• Collaborate with Genomics Sales, marketing, and medical affairs to support field-based efforts targeting Children’s Hospitals and academic institutions with clinical credibility and strategic insights.
• Deliver product training and clinical updates through presentations, roundtables, and one-on-one meetings.
• Act as a clinical liaison to key opinion leaders in pediatric genetics and rare disease, fostering long-term professional relationships.
• Attend and represent Fulgent Genetics at regional and national pediatric genetics conferences and events.
• Provide timely feedback from the field to help shape medical and commercial strategy.
• Ensure compliant and ethical interactions with external healthcare professionals.
