Qualifications

• Assures accurate patient screening with pregnancy checks, contrast concerns and exam contraindications.
• Performs radiographic techniques and positioning with proper room setup and equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency equipment and patient safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates correct radiographic techniques & positioning and sets up room/equipment for exams.
• Completes patient screening for pregnancy, contrast needs, and contraindications.
• Uses designated communication devices and responds appropriately.
• Maintains emergency equipment/supplies readiness.
• Raises patient care and safety concerns to supervision promptly.
• Keeps work area clean and properly maintained.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
