Job summary

Children’s National Hospital is seeking a Radiology Resource Assistant (RRA) on a PRN basis to support pediatric radiology services across campus and affiliated sites. You will help technologists, RNs, and radiologists before, during, and after exams, transport patients, and ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of patient care experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists, RNs, and radiologists before, during, and after radiology exams.

• Coordinate patient flow and communicate status or delays.
• Answer phones and take messages for radiology staff.
• Assist in uploading imaging CDs into PACS.
• Support room stocking, cleaning, supplies checks, and room turnover.
