Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Body Imaging with a focus on Pediatric Diagnostic Radiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. American Board of Radiology eligibility and completion of fellowship training in pediatric radiology or equivalent is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences; participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties. Teaching of medical students will be limited to those rotating through the Department of Radiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The candidate will prepare learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review.
Clinical responsibilities may include coverage in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), MEG (optional), and coverage at the Specialty Centers when necessary. The candidate will also be assigned to in-house coverage on evenings, nights, and weekends. Responsibilities include teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences and participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties.
Research responsibilities may include active involvement in clinical or basic research. The successful candidate will have prior research experience, with training at least at the level of a clinical research certificate program or equivalent mentored research experience, and demonstrated peer-reviewed scholarship. Support and mentorship for research will be provided.
