Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our pediatric urgent care team. You will perform radiographic procedures, coordinate with physicians, and support clinical and administrative operations to ensure patient safety and comfort.

You will handle imaging equipment, maintain quality control, and document findings while upholding HIPAA privacy and safety standards within your scope of practice under direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program.
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, clinic’s processes, and procedures.
• Ability to use sound judgment and act calmly in emergencies.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally.
• Knowledge of digital imaging.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (eCW preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and document daily quality control of radiology equipment at the start of shift.
