Job summary

Children's Mercy Kansas City is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform pediatric radiographic procedures under radiologist supervision and to support the department with LEAN practices. The position requires certification and ARRT registration, BLS, and ongoing ARRT CEUs.

On-site work and strong teamwork are essential. Ideal candidates bring experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm imaging, portable exams, and bone density procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from AMA-approved program or registry eligible (No experience necessary/on-the-job training).
Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT.
Professional ARRT (or equivalent) registration required.
BLS certification required; current ARRT CEUs per requirements.

Responsibilities

Performs radiographic procedures per department protocol using fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable exams, bone density and all diagnostic equipment.
Performs essential RIS/HIS functions and maintains LEAN practices as it relates to patient safety and quality.
Assists radiologist in all appropriate procedures.
