Job summary

Dayton Children's seeks a staff radiologic technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages using the full range of imaging equipment, including EKG registration. The role requires meeting department quality standards and providing patient education.

The position is full-time (40 hours) with shifts scheduled 4x10 hours, 11am-9:30pm, including rotating weekend shifts. Ohio licensure, ARRT in Radiography, and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• ARRT registration in Radiography is required.
• Ohio radiologic license is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages using diagnostic equipment including EKG and patient registration.
• Provide services with minimal supervision and meet department quality standards.
• Educate patients and parents about procedures performed within the center.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth continuum of care and accurate patient registration.
• Maintain competencies and comply with CPR, licensure, ARRT requirements and department education.
