University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks a BC/BE pediatric pulmonologist to fill a full-time or part-time position in the Department of Pediatrics' Pulmonology Division. This position offers many different options for you to customize how you like to practice.

Weekend only call rotation. The department invites applicants to join a collaborative team focused on patient care, teaching and scholarly activity in Peoria, IL.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
• 3 years Pediatric Residency/3 years Fellowship-Pediatric Pulmonology

Responsibilities

• To be an active part of our existing pulmonary team.
• Professional components include clinical, educational and scholar activities.
• Provide care, diagnostic and treatment services to children with pulmonary conditions.
• To contribute to the educational programs and activities for medical students and residents in relation to pediatric pulmonology.
• Maintain a spirit of inquiry and scholarship in the activities of the pulmonology service.
• Rotate WEEKEND pediatric pulmonary calls with other APNs and physicians
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Education

MD/DO or equivalent
