Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, OH is seeking a Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our Robert T. Stone, MD Respiratory Center. You will collaborate within an 8-pulmonologist team to deliver comprehensive care for children with diverse respiratory conditions.

Applicants should be board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology and eligible for Ohio medical licensure, contributing to a patient-centered, teaching‑oriented environment with strong patient outcomes and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology (ABP).
  • Eligibility for Ohio medical licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric pulmonology care within the Robert T. Stone, MD Respiratory Center.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to treat conditions such as asthma, CF, and chronic respiratory failure.
  • Contribute to research, education, and clinical leadership within a leading children's hospital.

The successful candidate will join a well-established group, expanding the services of theRobert T. Stone, MD Respiratory Centerteam. Our team includes 8 pediatric pulmonologists, 3 nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists and support staff who provide a complete spectrum of coordinated, compassionate,care to our patients. We treat a wide range of pediatric pulmonary conditions, includingasthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, chronic respiratory failure, cystic fibrosis (in our accredited CF Center) and more.
