Job summary

Homeside Rehab is seeking compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our pediatric home care team. Provide one-on-one therapy to children at home under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist with flexible scheduling and supportive team.

Pay ranges from $65 to $80 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles and a robust benefits portfolio. Must have active Florida PTA license and pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in pediatrics, home health, outpatient care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Strong treatment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule within the supervising PT’s plan of care.
• Basic computer skills for electronic medical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment interventions per plan of care.
• Help children improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate progress or changes to the PT.
• Reinforce education on home exercises and treatment strategies for caregivers.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising PT, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate scheduling and patient updates with office staff.
