Job summary

Join Tucson Medical Center's Pediatric Therapy team as a Per Diem Physical Therapist. You will provide child-centered PT services across inpatient and outpatient pediatric populations, from infancy to young adulthood, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a current AZ physical therapy license, a Bachelor's degree (Master’s/Doctorate preferred), and 1+ year pediatric experience, with strong assessment and family-centered care skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed to practice in Arizona (AZ).
• Master’s or Doctorate in PT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers diagnostic testing procedures to determine impairment and prognosis for improvement.
• Develops and updates individualized treatment plans.
• Gathers data and creates goals and plans; re-evaluates as needed.
• Communicates with medical staff regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
• Supervises PT assistants, aides and students.
• Coordinates with other service areas to ensure proper patient care.
