Job summary

Small Talk Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in a full-time, in-person role working with children. You’ll provide individualized pediatric care, partner with families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support movement, independence, and participation in everyday activities.

New graduates welcome and supportive for growth. You’ll have dedicated time for documentation and professional development, with four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Clear communication skills and collaborative approach with families and colleagues.
• Commitment to individualized, evidence-based pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating gross motor development, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, ROM, and movement-related needs.
• Developing individualized treatment plans with meaningful functional goals.
• Providing engaging, evidence-based interventions that support movement, independence, and participation.
• Incorporating purposeful play into therapy activities that fit each child’s abilities and interests.
• Helping families understand progress and use practical strategies between visits.
• Recommending equipment and supporting its use when appropriate to the child’s needs.
• Collaborating with teammates and other professionals involved in the child’s care.
• Maintaining timely, accurate evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Bringing curiosity and ideas to the ongoing improvement of our clinical services.
