Advocate Health’s Levine Children’s Center seeks a full-time Pediatric Psychologist to provide evidence-based consultation, assessment, and intervention for pediatric patients and families.

The role emphasizes sickle cell disease and blood/bone marrow transplant care within a leading pediatric hematology/oncology program, with opportunities for research, teaching, and clinic leadership in a premier university system.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology required.
• License eligible or licensed in NC required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Pediatric psychology fellowship training and experience in pediatric inpatient settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct assessments based on clinical interview and standards of the program.
• Formulate diagnoses using DSM criteria.
• Write discharge plans based on patient needs and follow up.
• Provide supervision of Psychologist I and interns.
• Participate in training of practicum students and trainees.
• Provide forensic evaluations and expert testimony when directed.
• Select and interpret psychological instruments; include written reports.
