272 Atrium Health Children's Specialty Network, Inc. seeks a full-time Pediatric Psychologist to provide consultation-liaison, assessment and intervention for pediatric patients in Levine Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, with emphasis on sickle cell disease and BMT.

The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings, supervision of trainees, and participation in research; a faculty appointment through Wake Forest University

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved program.
• License eligible or licensed as a Licensed Practicing Psychologist (North Carolina).
• BLS certification required; pediatric inpatient experience preferred.
• PSYPACT licensure encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments based on clinical interview and standards.
• Formulate diagnoses using DSM criteria.
• Write treatment plans aligned to age and presentation.
• Collaborate with guardians for effective service delivery.
• Provide supervision of psychology trainees and interns.
• Conduct forensic evaluations and offer expert testimony when needed.
• Administer and interpret instruments; report findings.
• Develop discharge plans and manage crises when needed.
