St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a Pediatric Psychologist for the St. Luke’s Children’s Neuro- and Behavioral Psychology team in Boise, Idaho.

The role combines inpatient consult-liaison with outpatient clinical care for children and adolescents with medical conditions. Qualificações

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA/CPA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APACPA-accredited pre-doctoral internship
• Completion of a postdoctoral training pediatric psychology
• Licensed or eligible for license in Idaho
• Preferred: Pediatric Psychologist who has progressed beyond entry-level practice and brings several years of experience

Responsabilidades

• Inpatient Consult-Liaison: provide psychological consultation and intervention to hospitalized patients and collaborate with medical teams and psychosocial providers.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to address behavioral health and psychosocial needs (inpatient) including coping, adherence, and adjustment to illness.
• Provide consultation to medical teams regarding behavioral, emotional, or psychosocial concerns impacting medical care.
• Conduct focused assessments and deliver timely, problem-focused interventions for hospitalized patients and families.
• Coordinate behavioral health services for patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs.
• Attend medical rounds, patient care conferences, and psychosocial rounds as appropriate.
• Facilitate communication between families and medical teams when psychosocial factors impact care.
• Outpatient: maintain an outpatient clinical caseload delivering evidence-based psychological services to children and adolescents with medical/health-related concerns.
• Assess and treat pediatric patients with emotional, behavioral, or adjustment difficulties related to medical conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based health psychology interventions addressing coping, adherence, pain management, and adjustment to illness.
• Collaborate with pediatric medical specialists and provide clinical consultation to masters-level therapists.
• Develop treatment plans supporting functioning at home, school, and in medical settings.
