Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in psychology with APA training.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
• Post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric/health psychology or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychological consultations for pediatric patients and families.
• Assess emotional, behavioral, development, and adjustment concerns related to hospitalization.
• Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to support coping and health behavior change.
• Consult with multidisciplinary medical teams on psychological factors affecting care.
• Develop discharge planning recommendations and continuity of services.
• Document findings in the electronic medical record; participate in program development.
