Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas is seeking a Psychologist for a PRN position, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, as needed. The role supports pediatric mental health through assessment, therapy, and collaborative care within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and potential involvement in research and training activities. Requires a Doctoral degree in Psychology, BLS, and license eligibility in Texas; Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology required.
• Minimum BLS required.
• Independently licensed or license-eligible through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists required.
• Continuing education requirements needed to maintain licensure as designated by relevant professional organizations required.
• Pediatric/child clinical experience required.
• Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) authorization strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Spanish preferred.
• Previous hospital setting and/or with medically-complex patients strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of child development from birth through young adulthood.
• Demonstrates culturally and ethically-informed clinical practice.
• Act in a manner in accordance with mandated reporting requirements in Texas and/or the patient’s home state as indicated required.

Responsabilités

• Provide mental, emotional, and behavioral health services through Clinical Excellence, including assessment, testing/interpretation/feedback, outpatient therapy, treatment/intervention, team clinics, and/or consultation.
• Support Research Excellence through collaboration, participation in, and/or leadership of research projects; consultation; multicenter studies; and/or supervision of research staff.
• Support Teaching Excellence by recruitment/onboarding of trainees, supervision, didactic presentations, trainee evaluations, and updating training materials.
• Timely, clear, and cohesive documentation of patient encounters per standards.
• Collaborate with inter- and intra-departmental colleagues and peers.
• Maintain membership and engagement in local/state/national/international professional societies.
