Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK seeks a licensed clinical pediatric psychologist for its Outpatient Behavioral Health and Child Development clinics. This full-time role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based interventions to pediatric patients.

Formación

• Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, or health-related field.
• Current State of Alaska license as Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) (or ability to obtain one).
• Board Eligible preferred.
• 2 years of experience providing pediatric psychology services.
• Strong foundational knowledge of comprehensive mental health issues in both theory and practice.
• Knowledge, training, and experience utilizing assessment techniques and evidence-based interventions for specific populations.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and stabilize patients in crisis within the clinic.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and make treatment recommendations.
• Support timely diagnoses for children with developmental concerns.
• Provide brief, solution-focused therapy when appropriate.
• Deliver psychotherapy to pediatric patients.
• Consult with PCP and other care team members.
• Provide supervision and training to interns and post-doc caregivers.
