Job summary

Prisma Health in Columbia, SC seeks a child psychologist for the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, a collaborative program with USC's Floyd School of Medicine. The division offers teaching, patient care and research opportunities with a team of pediatricians and psychologists.

The role focuses on conducting psychological assessments (autism, developmental delay, learning disabilities, ADHD), documenting assessments and treatment plans, and teaching students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessment of developmental conditions including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, learning disabilities, and ADHD.
• Provide documentation of psychological assessments, treatment plans and progress notes.
• Participate in training/teaching of students and residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to refer to other professionals or community services as needed.
• Contribute to development and improvement of psychological services including community outreach and education.

Prisma Health Medical Group and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Carolina Floyd School of Medicine are seeking to add a child psychologist to the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. The Division is a comprehensive center offering teaching, patient care, and research opportunities staffed presently by four developmental pediatricians and five PhD-level child psychologists.

• Conduct psychological assessment of a variety of developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay and intellectual disability, learning disabilities, and ADHD.
• Provide timely professional documentation of psychological assessment, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in the training/teaching of students and residents.
• Work in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to make appropriate referrals to other professionals or community services as needed.
• Actively participate in the development and improvement of psychological services, to include community outreach and education
