Job summary

Carolina Pediatric Therapy in South Asheville, NC, is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments and provide supervision within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic.

You will work with Psychology, Behavioral Health, OT, PT, and SLP teams, contributing to high-quality reports and practical recommendations for families and referring providers, with opportunities for mentorship and leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist in North Carolina.
• Experience with pediatric psychological/developmental assessment.
• Interest in supervision, mentoring, and student training.
• Collaborative multidisciplinary care.
• Strong communication of assessment findings to families and providers.
• Organized, thoughtful, and committed to high-quality clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.
• Complete interviews, observations, standardized tests, interpretation, and integrated reports.
• Provide clear, compassionate feedback and practical recommendations to families and referring providers.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, behavioral health therapists, and other pediatric providers.
• Provide clinical supervision to Licensed Psychological Associates (LPAs).
• Train and mentor practicum students, interns, and emerging clinicians.
• Participate in case consultation and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Collaborate across clinic, school, and telehealth settings.
• Stay current with evidence-based assessment practices.
• Pursue opportunities for clinical leadership and career advancement.
