Job summary

I Am Boundless in Ohio is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to provide trauma-informed nursing care to youth in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). You will assess, monitor, document, and support medical and psychiatric needs in alignment with policy and state regulations.

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and outside providers, you will participate in discharge planning, ensure accurate nursing notes, and delegate tasks to direct service staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• One year of nursing experience in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or pediatric setting; two+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to youth in the PRTF, including health screenings and vital signs.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
• Document health status and treatment progress; report to Lead RN.
• Coordinate medical and wellness services with internal and external providers.
• Assist in discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Delegate tasks to direct service staff per scope of practice.
