Job summary

The Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents (CCCA) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to join the Nursing Department in a pediatric psychiatric setting. You will report to psychiatrists, coordinate care, and support high-quality treatment planning for children and adolescents.

Virginia state service offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year commitment, plus up to $10,000 retention bonus after one year; a $25,000 total bonus is possible for new hires meeting eligibility

Qualifications

• Effective communication both verbal & written.
• Ability to participate in an interdisciplinary team and lead educational groups.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, & evaluate patient care with pharmacology and psychiatric knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under physician direction for pediatric psychiatric patients.
• Report accurate information to psychiatrists to guide medication and treatment decisions.
• Assist in patient assessments, monitoring, and care planning within the unit.
