Job summary

The Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents (CCCA) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to join its inpatient pediatric psychiatric team. This full-time RN II position offers a starting annual pay range and a comprehensive benefits package.

New-hire bonuses include up to $25,000 for state service entrants, a $15,000 sign-on with a one-year agreement, and a $10,000 retention bonus after one year. Competitive shift differentials are also provided.

Qualifications

• Effective communication both verbal & written.
• Ability to participate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to lead educational groups.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, & evaluate patient care with knowledge of pharmacology and psychiatric disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assess medical and mental health concerns for admitted pediatric patients.
• Report accurate information to the psychiatrist to guide medication and treatment decisions.
• Provide nursing care within an acute inpatient psychiatric setting.
• Collaborate with family, community services, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
