CHKD Medical Group in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide and monitor individualized psychiatric and medical nursing care for pediatric patients. You will follow approved plans, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and adapt care to developmental stages from preschool through adolescence.

Requirements include an active RN license in Virginia, CPR, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within the Emergency Mental Health care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree or nursing diploma; BSN preferred.
• Experience in pediatric medical and psychiatric settings preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plans, provides, and monitors individualized nursing care.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions per care plan for pediatric patients.
• Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care.
• Communicates and collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
