Job summary

CHKD Medical Group is seeking an RN to support staffing across psychiatric and general care units at the Children\u2019s Hospital of The King\u2019s Daughters in Norfolk, VA. The role reports to the Resource Pool Manager and involves collaboration with unit leadership to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualified applicants will have an RN license (Virginia or Compact), CPR/PALS, and prefer BSN or pediatric experience. Knowledge of crisis intervention and psychotropic meds is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN is preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Current Virginia RN license or Compact State license.
• CPR and PALS training required or to be obtained within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical nursing care.
• Plans, provides, and monitors individualized psychiatric and medical nursing care.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with the healthcare team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
