Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Pediatric Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide care under supervision, support crisis interventions, and document assessments.

The role requires English literacy, RN licensure in Texas, CPI and BLS certification, and at least 1 year of pediatric mental health experience; BSN preferred.

Three twelve-hour shifts per week, day or night options, with rotating weekends in a state-of-the-art behavioral health facility.

Qualifications

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services under supervision.
• Perform and document physical, psychosocial and emotional assessments.
• Develop and adjust care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritize nursing interventions based on assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of care and education.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
