Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. is seeking a compassionate pediatric-trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our behavioral health team in Reading, PA.

This full-time role offers a balanced 4-day work week, with three days 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and one extended day 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, ensuring continuity of care for children and adolescents. You will perform outpatient evaluations, diagnose, and manage medications, collaborating with therapists, pediatricians, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, pediatricians, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Engage in care coordination with families, schools, and other healthcare providers when appropriate.
