Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver one-on-one skilled nursing care in pediatric home health settings. The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities across the Greater Houston area with 8–12 hour shifts and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with families and the care team to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
• Pediatric home health experience preferred, but not required. New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality skilled one-on-one nursing care to pediatric clients in a home setting for 8–12 hour shifts.
• Care for clients with serious illnesses, medical complexities, disabilities, or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery.
• Assess client conditions during visits, monitor vital signs and equipment, and document thoroughly.
• Administer medications and collaborate with physicians and families to support positive outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
