Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School is seeking compassionate LPNs and RNs for private duty home care in Edgewater, MD. Roles include administering medications, assessments, and patient education in pediatric and adult cases. Training in G-tube, trach, and ventilator care is available for qualified candidates.

Shifts include evenings on weekdays and weekend availability. Licensure in Maryland or a compact state is required; CPR/BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• CPR/BLS certification is required or willing to train for certification if needed
• Ability to work independently and manage patient care in home settings

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely
