The Nemours Foundation seeks a Lead RN for our Primary care site at Foulk Road in Wilmington, Delaware. This role provides clinical leadership in ambulatory pediatric care and serves as a resource to the clinical staff, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and smooth day-to-day operations.

The Lead RN supports staff development, mentors colleagues, and collaborates with the Nurse Manager and Physician in Charge to optimize performance and patient flow in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required and licensed in Delaware (DE).
• Pediatric ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
• Certification as Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or national ANCC certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical oversight and direction to ambulatory staff.
• Lead staff orientation and monitor 90-day performance goals.
• Coordinate clinical operations with Nurse/Office Manager.
• Ensure policy and procedure adherence and safety.
• Manage medication and vaccine processes per regulations.
• Participate in lead nurse meetings and share updates.
• Support professional development and feedback for staff.
