Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Pediatric Physician to join the MedStar Medical Group at Great Mills in Southern Maryland. This 100% outpatient, Monday–Friday practice offers a stable primary care setting with an on-site lab and access to area subspecialists.

You will join a well-established team of four primary care providers supported by dedicated clinical and administrative staff, with visa sponsorship available and eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for Maryland medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient primary care.
• Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Collaborate with on-site laboratory and specialists in the area.
• Join an established practice with four primary care providers.

We are looking for a pediatrician to join our well-established primary care practice in the beautiful waterside community of Great Mills in southern Maryland. This position offers you the opportunity to practice alongside four other primary care providers and our dedicated and highly trained staff. In this outpatient setting, you will have a set Monday - Friday schedule where you'll be able to focus entirely on primary care. There is a lab on-site and sub-specialists in the area.

Compensation and Incentives

• Competitive base salary of$230,000-$245,000
• Sign-on bonus
• Annual quality incentive of up to$16,000, guaranteed in full during the first year

• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland
• Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
