Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Vero Beach, FL seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (Primary Care) to join our full-time Pediatric Primary Care team. The LPN will support physicians, nurse staff, and families while delivering high-quality care in a kid-friendly setting.

Responsibilities include vital signs, immunizations, medication administration, and coordinating clinic flow; must hold Florida LPN license and BLS. We offer competitive benefits and no state income tax in Florida.

Qualifications

• Specialized (1 year of training beyond high school) required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience required.
• Valid State of Florida LPN License required.
• AHA BLS Certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and care team in pediatric patient care.
• Take vital signs and document in patient chart.
• Administer vaccines and prescribed medications per guidelines.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical supplies.
• Coordinate referrals and outside testing.
• Participate in team huddles and patient education.
