Job summary

Esse Health in St. Louis, MO is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded pediatrician who is actively practicing locally to join our outpatient team in 2026 or early 2027.

The ideal candidate will bring an established patient following to facilitate a smooth transition into Esse Health. You’ll work within a collaborative group alongside two pediatric partners and other multidisciplinary colleagues, with mentorship and warm hand-offs as retirement approaches.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial-minded pediatrician actively practicing in the local community.
• Ability to bring patients to Esse Health and build a personal panel.
• Interest in mentorship and teaching medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative team of two Pediatric physician partners with access to multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Opportunity to gradually take over a physician’s panel with mentorship and warm hand-offs during retirement transition.
• Outpatient care with potential newborn rounding and ability to focus on clinical interests (e.g., ADHD, mental health, obesity).
• Mentor and teach medical students and residents if desired.
